University of Miami Law Review Mourns the Passing of Gail D. Serota

It is with profound sadness that we inform the passing of Gail D. Serota, JD ’79.

Gail was an esteemed partner at the law firm Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, onetime councilwoman for the Village of Pinecrest and president of the Sisterhood at the Bet Shira Synagogue, as well as a Reid Scholar, and a distinguished member of the legal community.

A loving wife to UMLR alumn Joseph Serota, and mother of three, Ms. Serota will always be remembered as a brilliant scholar and tireless citizen. We send our condolences to Joe, their three children and the rest of the Serota family.
